Calculators and eligibility tools
Work out which pass a situation needs, what documents it takes, and what the first year actually costs.
The short answer
Three kinds of tool: a checker that tells you which pass a situation needs, a generator that produces the document list for a specific application, and worksheets that itemise every cost line in a first year. None of them print a salary threshold or a government rate. Those we quote in writing per case, because they differ between Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia and change without notice.
Which pass does this situation need?
Four questions: where the work happens, who pays, how long for, and the salary. Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia band Employment Passes at completely different salaries, so the same person can be a top-category hire in one and ineligible in the other.
